Together ("we," "us," "our") is committed to being transparent about what data we collect and how we use it. This Privacy Policy explains our practices for the Together platform ("Platform").

By using Together, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. This is an early-stage MVP platform, and our data practices reflect that: we collect only what we need to operate.

        Short version: We collect the information you give us to display your request and run the platform. We don't sell it. Payments go through Stripe. You can contact us to request removal.

B. Information collected automatically

When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect standard web analytics data, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the platform. This is used to understand how the platform is being used and to improve it.

C. Payment information

We do not collect or store your payment card details. All payment information is handled directly by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. 3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Display rent support requests to potential contributors
Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform
Review submissions for accuracy and appropriateness
Communicate with you about your submission or contribution
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms
Understand how the Platform is being used (analytics)

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling beyond what is necessary to operate the platform.

4. Public Information

If you submit a rent support request and it is approved for display, the following information will be publicly visible on the Platform:

Your first name
Your city
The amount you need
Your rent due date
Your short story
Verification badge status (if applicable)

Uploaded documents (ID, lease) are for internal review only and are not displayed publicly.

5. Third-Party Services

We use a limited number of third-party services to operate the Platform. These may include:

Stripe — payment processing (see Stripe's Privacy Policy)
Hosting / CDN provider — to deliver platform infrastructure
Analytics — basic usage analytics (no personally identifiable behavioral profiling)

We do not share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Data

Together does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes. This is true for this MVP and is our intended ongoing policy.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to operate the Platform and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. If a request is removed from the Platform, associated personal data will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.

We strongly encourage you not to submit sensitive personal information (e.g., Social Security numbers, bank account numbers) through the Platform.
